MANUEL E. CORDERO

CEO and President

Manuel E. Cordero is President and CEO of Cusco Aviation, LLC, an Aircraft and Engine Trading, Asset Management, and Technical Services Company which he recently founded. Prior to founding Cusco Aviation, Manuel was responsible for the Technical Department at Jackson Square Aviation as their Senior Vice President Technical Services. He was also part of the team who founded Sky Holding and Jackson Square Aviation. Prior to joining Jackson Square Aviation, Manuel led the Technical teams at Sky Holding Company and Pegasus Aviation Finance company in San Francisco, California. Earlier during his career he also held senior technical roles at AWAS, Aeroperu , Americana de Aviacion and Aerochasqui.

During his various tenures, Manuel has provided expert advice on all technical and commercial aspects of lease, purchase and sale transactions and has had oversight of the leased aircraft assets. He has also managed all Maintenance Reserve Claims and approvals for modifications, and major maintenance events. Manuel also led transition efforts related to over 250 aircraft delivery, redeliveries and early terminations. His 30 + year experience in the Aviation industry has provided him with a wealth of experience in the field of aircraft leasing from both the Lessee and Lessor’s perspective.

Manuel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Fluid Dynamics, an FAA Commercial Pilot license and an FAA Certified Airframe & Powerplant Mechanics license; all obtained at the University of Illinois.

DAVE THOMPSON

Senior Marketing and Commercial Advisor

Dave Thompson is an aircraft leasing professional with nearly 30 years of experience in the industry. He has held leadership roles in some of the most prominent companies in the aircraft leasing space. Most recently, he worked as President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer for Sky Holding/Sky Leasing from 2010-2017. Prior to Sky, Dave was EVP for Skyworks Leasing. From 1994-2006, Dave was Managing Director with GATX Air, the aircraft leasing unit of GATX which was acquired by Macquarie AirFinance.
Dave holds a B.A. in Economics from Middlebury College.

BILL MCELFRESH

Senior Advisor Business Development

Bill has over 35 years of experience in commercial aircraft and jet engine manufacturing, sales, leasing and support and has been a key individual in developing the leasing business. Bill was the Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Strategic Development and a Board Member of Willis Lease Finance Corporation. As Executive Vice President at Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi owned Engine Lease Finance, he helped build and develop the Marketing and Sales Support Organization. Bill was a partner building both Turbine Engine Support Company and International Aircraft Support, Inc. Prior to joining IASI, he developed and managed the Worldwide Spares Support and Overhaul Operations for the Power Accessories Division of TRW, Inc. Prior to TRW, he was an Aircraft Maintenance Officer in the United States Air Force assigned to VIP and NASA Support Operations. Bill holds a B.A. from the University of Kansas and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.

AMELIA MAFE

Senior Operations and Technical Advisor

Prior to joining Cusco Aviation, Amelia latest Leasing experience was as Senior Vice President Marketing Americas, liased with Capital markets on prospect acquisitions and contributed in technical projects at Sky Aviation. Prior to joining Sky Holding, while at ILFC, Amelia was responsible for performing Maintenance reserve reimbursement evaluations, developed a Financial model to perform Financial analysis and maintenance projections vital to aircraft sales and acquisitions, the financial state of the company and prior to the sale of the company. Earlier during her career, she also held technical roles (maintenance and engineering) at Pegasus Aviation Company, Boeing, United Airlines and Cessna Aircraft. During her various tenures, Amelia has provided expert advice on all technical and commercial aspects of lease, purchase and sale transactions and has contributed in the oversight of the leased aircraft assets. She has also managed all non-engine Maintenance Reserve Claims for the ILFC fleet. Her 20+ year experience in the Aviation industry has provided her with a wealth of experience in the field of aircraft manufacture and leasing perspective. Amelia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace engineering, a Master´s degree in Aerodynamics from Wichita State University, an Executive Masters in Business administration, an FAA private Pilot license and an FAA Certified Airframe & Powerplant Mechanics license.

BRUNO LEONI

VP Sales and Marketing Central and South America

Bruno Leoni brings over 15 years of experience in the aviation industry to Cusco Aviation, LLC as its Senior Marketing and Sales Director for South and Central America, and the Caribbean. Prior to joining Cusco Aviation, Bruno co-founded Air Phoenix del Peru a corporate aviation consulting company with presence in the Latin American Market. Bruno also served as Vice President Commercial for startup airline Voy Peru. Earlier in his carrier, Bruno served as Airport Project Director at the Private Investment Promotion Agency of Peru- PROINVERSION, being in charge of awarding over US$ 150 million in airport concessions. Bruno obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Business Administration at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is also a Stanford University and IATA Certified Aviation Management Professional (AvMP) as well as an Expert Member of the Bureau of Technical Cooperation at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

PHILIP DOYLE

VP Sales and Marketing, North America

Philip Doyle is Vice President Sales and Marketing North America for Cusco Aviation, LLC, an Aircraft and Engine Trading and Asset Management; and Technical Services Company. Prior to his position with Cusco Aviation, Philip was a Business Support and Finance Analyst with Jackson Square Aviation, in Dublin, Ireland. Within this position, Philip was responsible for supporting Technical, Marketing and Credit departments. Prior to joining Jackson Square Aviation, Philip was a Sales and Marketing Analyst for CIT Aerospace International, also based in Dublin, Ireland, where he supported the Marketing department.

During his previous positions, Philip’s responsibilities included providing aircraft lease pricing, coordinating aircraft deliveries with various departments, assisting on aircraft novations, carrying out aircraft and market technical analysis and providing credit analysis on new transactions.

Philip holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chinese and International Business from the Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland.
